Sigma Micro has been in the business for 25 years and we have the experience to recognize two very important things:
  1. Education is very different from training and you need both

  2. You have to run your daily business while learning a new software and you can’t afford to have people pulled way from their daily jobs for education
We understand that your key staff members must be educated thoroughly on how the software works so they make the best choices on how to set it up to operate your business most efficiently. However, most users don’t need to know how the software works, they just need to know how to use it to get their jobs done and that is where procedures are important. Procedures are written documents outlining your business processes and we make it easy for you to create them with a Procedure Writing Toolkit. We educate your staff and give them a tool to write procedures so they in turn can train their employees.

We also know that you have a business to run while you are preparing to implement SigmaCommerce and you cannot afford to have your staff dragged away from their jobs for days to learn the software. Our experience has taught us that it is best to limit education classes to no more than four hour sessions resulting in better retention, better company morale and most important – you can keep your business up and running. We split up a full day of on-site courses into two sessions, covering two different modules. This structure allows your staff to attend a class and still do their “day job”. We feel so strongly about this that we don’t call the time you turn on SigmaCommerce “go live” because we didn't kill you! We call it “activate” because it is a time you take your company to a new level.
