INDIANAPOLIS, May 7, 2007 – Sigma Micro, a developer of the SigmaCommerce integrated order management and fulfillment software for catalog, web store, call center and point of sale direct marketers, today announced that the company recently celebrated its 25 year anniversary in the multi-channel software industry.
“There are not that many software companies that have been around for 25 years,” said Joe Swern, President of Sigma Micro. “To still be growing with a state-of-the-art solution should say something to retailers looking for a new multi-channel software application. We have always been here for our clients and fully plan on being here for years to come.”
“We credit our longevity and success to a number of things, including great employees who focus on creating a true partnership with our clients, as well as developing software that is focused on the retail industry,” mentioned Mr. Swern. “That is all we have ever done – focus on retail.”
Since inception, Sigma Micro has been headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana and currently has over 120 employees. While Sigma Micro still has employees that have been with the company for over ten or fifteen years, they have also added many new employees over the past year as the company continues to grow.
SigmaCommerce, the flagship product for Sigma Micro, is a .Net application with a single relational Microsoft SQL database that allows today’s retailers with a web store, print catalog and retail store front to use a fully integrated system rather than try to interface various vendors’ products.
