The Sigma Micro Leadership Team



Albert H. Langsenkamp

Chairman

Twenty-five years ago Al Langsenkamp led a team that founded Sigma Micro and has since watched it grow into a strong company with a great reputation for customer service. Today, Langsenkamp serves as the Chairman of Sigma Micro and in an advisory role for numerous companies and organizations outside of Sigma Micro.

Langsenkamp has received gubernatorial honors for his outstanding leadership and service in strengthening the Indiana LLC for Science and Technology. In July 2000, Langsenkamp served on a national "All Hazard Warning Roundtable," hosted by the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) of the United States Department of Commerce, focusing on the role of new telecommunications and information technologies that deliver warnings to citizens at risk in weather-related and other emergencies.

Langsenkamp holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial management from Purdue University.

Matthew L. Konkle

President

As president of Sigma Micro, Matt Konkle is responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of world-wide company operations.

Mr. Konkle, in addition to serving as CFO for the past four years at Sigma Micro, also served as CFO for Sigma Communications, LLC a Sigma Holdings portfolio company acquired by PlantCML in April 2007. Prior to Sigma, he most recently served as director of finance for Aprimo, Inc., an Indianapolis-based developer of enterprise marketing management software. Before Aprimo, he served as financial reporting manager for Lilly Industries, Inc., where he was responsible for all SEC reporting. Mr. Konkle began his career with Ernst & Young LLP as a member of the entrepreneurial services group, serving a client base of dynamic, high-growth technology companies.

Konkle has a MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University.

Mukund Krishna

Managing Director, India Operations

With more than 16 years of professional experience, Mukund Krishna serves as Sigma Micro’s managing director of the company’s Indian operations.

Prior to Sigma Micro, Krishna was the director of product program management and offshore development at Powerway, Inc, where he was responsible for cross-functional management and deployment of Powerway’s flagship product. He also built their offshore development capabilities and managed vendor relationships for the company across the globe. He has managed product development and provided information services in various direct and indirect consulting capacities to Fortune 500 companies such as GM, Ford, Daimler Chrysler and DTE Energy.

Krishna’s experience spans various domains, including automotive, energy and consulting. He has an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bangalore University, India. He has received scholastic commendations for top academic performance and has several academic publications to his credit.

Jeff Dahltorp

Vice President, Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management for Sigma Micro, Jeff Dahltorp has responsibility for developing and implementing the strategic product road map as well as management of strategic partnerships.

Dahltorp comes to Sigma Micro with more than fourteen years of marketing and product experience in technology and software industries. He has worked with a number of technology, software and consulting firms positioning them for dramatic growth over a short period of time.

Before coming to Sigma Micro, Dahltorp was Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for Performance Assessment Network, an online testing and assessment company which was recently purchased by TALX. Prior to pan, Dahltorp was Director of Marketing and Strategic partnerships for TruStar Solutions which was listed on the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies list two years in a row prior to it being acquired by First Advantage. Dahltorp has also worked at marchFIRST and NISource.

He received his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Steve Warren

Vice President, Sales

As Vice President of Sales for Sigma Micro, Steve Warren is responsible for overseeing all sales efforts, including customer acquisition, account management and contract negotiations. 

Warren has over 13 years of sales management experience with software and technology companies including his most recent tenure at REVERSE 911® as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. That company was listed on the Inc. 5000 in 2007 and was recently acquired by PlantCML. Warren has also worked at AT&T and NuVox Communications.

He received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Kelli Schmith

Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing, Kelli Schmith leads Sigma Micro’s corporate marketing initiatives including strategic programs that support the SigmaCommerce brand as the direct retailer’s choice for an on-demand order management solution. 

Prior to joining Sigma Micro, Schmith held a variety of marketing and sales leadership positions within technology, publishing, and logistics. In her most recent role at REVERSE 911®, she held responsibility for all corporate and brand marketing, including media relations. She also brings a wealth of experience from management roles at Langham, Indiana’s 7th largest logistics provider, Simon & Schuster Publishing, Pearson Education, and IDG Books Worldwide (now Wiley & Sons). During her career, Schmith has marketed and sold across the gamut of product marketing, sales and distribution, including national retail chains, wholesalers, and international. 

Schmith is a Journalism graduate from Indiana University with studies in Marketing and Advertising.

Doug Rammel

Vice President, Professional Services

As Vice President of Professional Services, Doug Rammel spearheads the strategic direction and delivery of all client-focused services including implementation, training, client support and other professional services. Under Rammel’s leadership, Sigma Micro offers a highly disciplined project management and implementation methodology.

Before joining Sigma Micro, Rammel served as Vice President of Information Systems, Technology and Integration Operations at the Sports Licensed Division of the adidas Group. His leadership encompassed over 500 information systems users and implemented multiple systems integration projects for the company’s various business units. Rammel has also served as President of Synapse Operational Systems and Solutions, an information technology and services company.

Rammel’s diverse educational background includes an MBA/MPH in Business and Health Care Management from the University of Michigan, and degrees in philosophy, biology, chemistry, and physics from at the University of Toledo.
